Terms of Use
These Terms of Use apply to the MothLight iOS game published by PureNest.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using MothLight, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.
2. Use of MothLight
MothLight may be used for personal and lawful entertainment purposes. You agree not to use MothLight in a way that is unlawful or that interferes with other people's enjoyment of the game.
3. Game Content and Intellectual Property
The MothLight game, branding, original design elements, and other applicable materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. MothLight may also include properly licensed third-party assets.
These Terms do not give you ownership of the game, its branding, or its content. You may not copy, sell, or redistribute MothLight except as allowed by the App Store and applicable law.
4. Game Progress and Virtual Items
Scores, progress, unlocks, lantern styles, journeys, game achievements, and other virtual gameplay items are part of the gameplay experience. They exist to support play on your device, have no cash value outside the game, and cannot be redeemed for real-world money, goods, or services from PureNest.
Much of this information is stored locally on your device and may be lost if you delete the app, clear app data, or change devices. Purchased unlocks associated with your Apple Account can usually be restored with Restore Purchases in Settings.
5. In-App Purchases
MothLight may offer optional one-time In-App Purchases (non-consumable) that unlock content already included in the app, such as all journeys or all lantern styles. Purchases are optional. You can still unlock journeys by completing them and lantern styles with play time without buying anything. Easy — 5 Miles remains available to play without a purchase.
Purchases are made through the Apple App Store using your Apple Account. Apple processes payment. Pricing is shown in the app in your local currency before you confirm a purchase. Apple's App Store terms and conditions also apply to any purchase.
After purchase, the related unlock becomes available in the app. Use Settings → Optional Unlocks → Restore Purchases if you reinstall the app or change devices and need to restore unlocks tied to your Apple Account.
Except where required by law or by Apple's refund policies, purchases are generally final. Refund requests are handled by Apple, not by PureNest directly. If Apple refunds or revokes a purchase, related unlocks may be removed.
You are responsible for any purchases made from your device or Apple Account, including purchases made by others who use your device or account (subject to Ask to Buy / Family Sharing settings you configure with Apple).
6. App Store and Apple Services
MothLight is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of the App Store, Apple Account, payment methods, Family Sharing, and related Apple services is governed by Apple's terms and policies. PureNest is not responsible for App Store availability, Apple Account issues, or Apple billing systems.
7. Updates and Changes
MothLight may be updated, changed, improved, or discontinued at any time. Features, balance, prices, available In-App Purchases, and content may change as the game is maintained. These Terms may also be updated; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
8. Disclaimer
MothLight is provided as a work of entertainment. PureNest does not promise that the game will always be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors. Your use of MothLight is at your own risk, to the extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, PureNest is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of MothLight, including loss of locally stored progress, scores, or unlocks. Some places do not allow certain limitations, so this section may not apply to you in full.
10. Termination
You may stop using MothLight at any time by deleting the app from your device. PureNest may stop offering or updating MothLight at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
